I guess the cost of self-hosting really can't be obscured away, the whole reward mechanism for views seemed a poor choice to me, serving the content should have generated the reward (Nostr also seems to fail to understand this at all) so it falls through. I think you have some good insight here, Mitra certainly touches on that and has top be realistic with multiple existing coins rather than trying to spin up a new one, while fighting SEC and YouTube at the same time.
