@shsbxheb @deborahh @TonyStark yeah, that's really what it is--no real competition. That said, I'm pretty sure the school board positions I mentioned were competitive and I think the judges may have included at least some "shall they be retained".

I wish I remember the details more. I was canvassing for the Democrats knocking on doors of Democrats and there were a LOT of people that didn't realize there was a primary at all much less the stakes.
