Then the January 6th Capitol attack happened.
People cannot be trusted with fully uncensored speech. Regardless, freedom of speech is not freedom of consequences.
In your own words: if it doesn't bother you, it should.
And yes, I'm aware that censorship is a slippery slope, and powerful tools in the hands of dictatorial powertripping egotistical assholes is objectively a bad outcome. But if you ask me, fully uncensored, unregulated speech is also extremely harmful.
