Unless the guy was raised like veal by an unending stream of women, he had to have had chances to pull out of that tailspin. I just don’t like guys who are anchors, always grabbing at everyone whining about drowning but refusing to hold their breath to even begin to rescue themselves. It’s hard enough swimming alone, and unless you’re blood I don’t have the overhead to drag your dead weight around for years
