She is widely regarded as one of the most successful and long-reigning Pharoahs. Judy Chicago chose to feature her on one of 39 place settings set around a large triangular table in her installation 'The Dinner Party' (1974--79). Each place setting honored an important historical woman; the names of 999 additional influental woman appeared on the tile floor.Artist: Born in Chicago, Judith Cohen changed her name to Judy Chicago in 1970 to renounce paternalistic naming conventions.
