@Chronic-Yonic @GrumpyOldNurse Not one of the mothers against drugs groups I ever encountered at work wanted it, it is mainly a middle class luxury belief thing. Addicts also have to be genuinely wanting to accept help, and the Govts do nothing re proper facilities and they are constantly closing stuff down or defunding it. Also, two of the places in Inverness that dealt with addictions were VERY religious and this put the clients off. As one bloke said to me, his bullying father was a right old holy roller who had made his and his mother’s life a hell scape, so when he went into the place, and the first thing he saw was the huge open bible on a lectern just inside the front door he started sweating and panicking and left again.
