@thomasfuchs I’ll admit that the response to Meta here has made me less optimistic about implementing ActivityPub on the Amazon subsidiary I work for… but I also recognize that if my racist relatives end up here talking about their recipes involving horse paste or 5G neurotransmitters, that’s a big problem.

Idk enough about Mastodon the software to know if the problem is really just inadequate moderation tools. The protocol would allow you to drop messages without banning the instance.
