If you mean access to hormone treatments, it is quite possible to be trans without a hormone treatment, many were and are, it's just not ideal. But access to hormone treatment will come for those who need it--it's just delayed by fascist jerks. If you mean the horrid legislating to pressure trans people from other directions, quashing their identities legally and many other ways--yes, that's a kind of erasure. Needs to be set right.
