I'm probably closer to you on this than I am the rest of the thread. The one slight change I would make to what you've been saying is that the marital act must always be *open* to conception, not that that always has to be your intent. Having sex with your spouse because it's fun, or even just because one of you had a stressful day is completely, as long as you are not proactively trying to prevent conception.
