Yes. But not solely for that purpose. If God intend it solely for the purpose of reproduction we'd likely see dopamine and probably some serotonin released following orgasm, since those are our body's primary reward chemicals. And while you do see a surge of dopamine, the primary endorphin released is oxytocin suggesting that the bonding aspect of sex is at least as important as the reproductive aspect.
