because being scared of dogs this much is not that common

You'd be surprised, people often cross the road when I walk my dogs and they're not big big, not like my brother's dog or others. It's an unspoken fear but more people have it than they'd like to admit.

I've seen people scream and run away as well. It is rare but that has happened a few times, especially when going around a corner and someone with a phobia doesn't spot us straight away. (Looking up from their phones.)

To be honest, it makes sense, neither the dog or stranger know each other so I totally understand the fear.

It was and he was scared of dogs, until years later our cousin's dog was really nice to us. Then he wanted to get a dog to conquer his fears. A funny kid, he was.
