That alone makes it very difficult to prove an over arching plan of the evidence. In fact, Mike's argument regarding the killing of jews in the east is not something I can call an insane position. Basically, the Germans had orders to kill politically / militarily operative bolshavik jews who would have been legitimate military targets, but not workers or their families. So the reasons were purely martial ones necessary for the conquest of land and the eliminate of the opposition. That's perfectly normal for war. That there happened to he a strong relationship between ethnicity and political positions was a fact of that war that even the proponents of the holocaust theory must admit with respect to the bolshaviks. So because there was a martial reason for the killing, and because only military targets were ordered targeted, it can't be said to be a genocide.
