Yea take her out shooting a couple of times, she might enjoy the sport.

My wife like sporting clays though we are both terrible at it. She doesn't care for long rifles unless they are suppressed and don't have much kick. She found the long range stuff fun and doesn't mind being a spotter but the recoil is not for her.

Handguns she doesn't have the strength to shoot much past a 9mm, but enjoys it.
