     the air rifle is suppressed, damn near zero recoil
     
     made the mistake of thinking it would be funny to put the stock on my nuts and fire tho there’s still a little bit of recoil lol

     we’ve got a nice berm set up and I’d like to set up a shoot house at some point for some proper 3-gun cus I did that once a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed it

     I’ll probably start her off on either the .22 air rifle or the regular .22 and then maybe a pistol
     
     Probably oughtta get her to fire a shotgun at least once but she’ll either really enjoy that or hate it
     
     She did TKD as a kid and was actually pretty good (so I’ve been told) and likes to think she’s tough so I think she’ll enjoy shooting

     Starting off with a 22 is the right move. If its the air rifle that is suppressed it helps alot.
     
     Shotgun use some low recoil loads. They are nothing for recoil in an over under though they might not cycle in a semi auto.

     I’ve told her that I’ll take up more shooting over time so I don’t do quite as much combat sports lol

     Disagree, 19 is not sufficient to cause concern. I have way over 20, my woman doesn't say a thing. Do you take her out shooting?

     I haven’t yet, and neither has her father which I think is an issue
     
     She’s never held a firearm in her life let alone made it go bang
     
     Will be changed, I’ll take her out shooting with my dad at some point soon

     Yea take her out shooting a couple of times, she might enjoy the sport.
     
     My wife like sporting clays though we are both terrible at it. She doesn't care for long rifles unless they are suppressed and don't have much kick. She found the long range stuff fun and doesn't mind being a spotter but the recoil is not for her.
     
     Handguns she doesn't have the strength to shoot much past a 9mm, but enjoys it.

     didn’t cause any lasting pain was just a jolt and I was like “aw fuck that was dumb” and then another 2 minutes and it was all gone
