interestingly, "hall monitors" is a term I used on Diaspora before looking around and stumbling over here. ten+ years ago, it was all "Occupy Wall Street" and they were gonna change the world. I still have a few old old friends there, but it's degenerated into globohomo hall monitors and people making block-lists now.
