@kainoa Quite possibly so. I wonder if Gab and countersocial are also counted?

.social's accounts have only increased by about 75K since May 1 and since they're now the default they'd presumably account for most of the Mastodon increases in general -- and if various sites cleaned out spambots then I could certainly imagine total #s flat.
