@s1m0n4 Wow, 3 months!
True, summer heat is too much.
Back in the 90s, we used to get 3 weeks break. The week before Christmas, the week of Christmas and New Year, and the week after New Year. And the October 31, November 1 , and November 2 break.
But in recent years, those were cut down. October 31st and November 1st, and the weeks of Christmas and New Year only.
And students today, if classes were suspended because of weather disturbances, it is simply rescheduled on a Saturday. If two days were cancelled, that would be two Saturdays. In my time, we just study at home and do assignment (which, we didn't do anyway, LOL).
I wonder, is the Christmas-New Year the only one were the entire world is on break and holiday? I'm not sure how it is in #Australia and #NewZealand since their seasons are reverse of what we have.
