Adam Bishop@killyourfm @element Of course not all, but many big name Flatpaks are packaged and maintained (or sometimes not so maintained) by the community, and not directly packaged by the developer. I even tried to package a few apps myself, but made a few mistakes in my .yaml! I think it is wise in general to check directly on the developer's website, and first install the way they would suggest if possible.
