Jason Molenda@mario It's one of my favorites of his. I haven't watched it in probably fifteen years but I can remember entire scenes and lines of dialogue perfectly. The scene where Yumiko encounters the funeral procession, I couldn't breathe it was so beautiful. Somehow this film and After Life (ワンダフルライフ) never made it to any streaming/VOD in the US. Criterion released After Life on Bluray/DVD, so you can still get it on physical media, but Maboroshi is real tough to find here. :(
