@starsstorm I think this drive to be special by appropriating minority identities tells something about our society. The fact is that "normal" people feel like they're missing out on something. I think the core of the issue lies in clear separation between normal and divergent, and making divergence into an essence. Boring poo people vs alien glittery souls, as opposed to accepting everything as a variation of the norm and, yes, being on a spectrum. Acceptance and spectrum is what sjw say all the time but for some reason it only serves to divide people into castes. There's probably some lingustic fuckery at play, as it always is with them, but I think I'm not ready to tackle it right now.
