James Holden@TechConnectify @thomasfuchs I made the mistake of putting a car rental deposit on my debit card once. It put a €700 hold on my current (checking) account for a month. Credit card wouldn’t have mattered because it’s a fraction of the total limit and it’s not my money they’re holding. But €700 of my own cash tied up for a month was very annoying.
