Obviously there's been the issue of untreated mentally ill people for decades now once state institutions were shut down, but fentanyl... Literally turns off your "I give a shit about anything except fentanyl" switch. Including not freezing to death. These people need to be forcebly removed if they're going to be saved (which I personally feel extremely conflicted about and is impossible if fent is a misdemeanor here now). The only thing to do is to stop it coming in, which we have never ever ever been able to do with any drug.
I don't know what happens next. Is it like a rapture where we just have to wait for all the people who are susceptible to this kind of addiction to overdose? Like a plague? I hate to be so blackpilled but I really don't know. I know crack is still out there but you never hear about it anymore
