Adrianna Tan@thomasfuchs @est a great number of tech bros always had the easy excuse that ‘ultimately he’s doing X to improve the world and I’ll never bet against him, so *all of this is fine*’ and I think the only thing that’s changed is that the former is less obvious or defendable now, and also that market conditions have changed (mainly $TSLA). I’ve decided they fundamentally *don’t care*, the way people don’t really care that Facebook causes genocide in Myanmar and Ethiopia
