However, Unlisted posts are still fetchable. Not fetching them would break threads on the Nostr side (and it would be harder to code). And since it’s a public post not being delivered to followers, the user expectation is still wrong.
(Unlisted was always a dumb idea because it’s a visibility setting for a specific feature (the “public timeline”), and that specific feature isn’t even very good.)
I don’t feel very strongly about it, but open to feedback.
