OH.
MY.
Sia.
That dog has one of the smiley-ist sets of eyes I've ever seen! I'm cheating a little because I can see the reflection in his eyes - but that is a look of love and adoration - pure and simple enjoyment of the moment.
Dobermans are very social and trainable aren't they? I love dogs but I'm pretty high maintenance so I tend to find furry friends who don't need me as much. :)
He has had you his whole life? What a sweet and wonderful gift to have given him. With his energy levels, you've undoubtable had quite the relationship! I imagine little puppo Dax growing to teenager Dax growing to Adult Dax has been a joy to behold.
I did notice that they tend to live shorter lives - but I think that just makes the time all the more precious, don't you agree?
We are given a million moments to make precious. He is given hundreds of thousands. It sounds like you've spent the better part of his entire existence making them the best moments that anyone could have. That is to be celebrated and commended. :)
I BARELY know Dax and I'm in love with him now!
