The other thing to remember about #Tootfinder is that it’s a proof of concept.

Yes, Google indexes more Fediverse posts.

However, many people don’t like Google indexing Fediverse posts.

You can argue whether or not public posts should be indexed—that’s not my concern.

My concern is whether people who object to search will object to #Tootfinder—seeing how it’s explicitly opt-in.
