- Embed this notice@sampo It's not "deplatforming", it's "we don't want to work with you". They can keep hosting their stuff, they have alternatives like Onion services, I2P, etc.
But, when it comes to companies, services are an exchanges. Reputation is at play. If the service provider is loosing too much, then of course, they won't want to work with that client. The service providers have nothing to gain in this case, only many things to lose, and well, that's how it works, they're businesses, not charities.
It's not necessary to use them to run something on the Internet, but if you're so vile that no one wants to work with you no matter the money involved, I don't believe you can claim it's "deplatforming". There are alternatives out there. Cloudflare and others just sell convenience against a fee.
