The only way a free speech platform can exist, is when there's a sufficient demand for it willing to pay. Like we have here, some are able/willing to fund the servers that let us speak freely (or at least more freely, depending on the instance's moderation).

Corporate social media will never be pro free speech, none of it will ever be. Because the corporations are the ones paying for it, you are the product, and they don't want negative PR just as large an exposed audience as possible.
