@stux I live in a country where women are treated like monsters for suggesting that maybe they should be allowed to carry pepper spray to defend themselves from rapists, where politicians believe that women merely need to politely explain to their rapist that rape is wrong to get him to stop. This is the end result of these anti-self defense policies; a disarmed and vulnerable populace who are treated as criminals should they defend themselves from vile monsters. Having the means to defend yourself is a fundamental human right.
