I can't believe there are still people who think they have 'good reasons' for carrying firearms or thinking it's a normal thing after what went down (again) in Monterey Park..
Shooting after shooting and nothing changes. Where are all your 'protection guns' if you need them?

Ofc situations are different everywhere in the world but that shouldn't be an excuse to not make changes!
A little example, that I am personally very happy with:
If you are spotted with a firearm(fake or real) here in the #Netherlands, a special police unit will be called in to arrest your ass..
Weapons are NOT normal, if you feel you have to carry it something is wrong around you or with you..
Stop making excuses.. it's getting old real fast

@elliswyatt @stux The sickness is paranoid people like yourself who think you need to carry a gun to avoid being kidnapped when defensive gun uses are extremely uncommon. The right has people so fearful that the market gets flooded w/ people buying guns for "protection" making it easier for criminals and mass shooters to get them because the supply is so out of control that we can't keep track. Don't even get me started on accidental shootings and irresponsible gun owners.

@stux So in your mind, it is perfectly normal for people with guns and a costume to come around and kidnap people at gun point, killing them if they resist, but "sick" when a person goes about their day doing absolutely nothing to harm anyone while coincidentally carrying a gun?

@elliswyatt @stux Everyone's a "law-abiding citizen" until they're not. These incel mass shooters usually have little to no criminal record until they decide to go nuts on a group of people. Those who don't want to do harm often do so indirectly because they put their hobby or their paranoia over the safety of others.

And yes, knives and cars and chemicals and heavy things and rope, and and and ... are absolutely laying around.

@elliswyatt @Zammer @stux I’m glad that most people who have a mental breakdown in Europe don’t have fire arms at their disposal. In developing countries like the USA things aren’t regulated that well yet.
