Was it their founder or CTO? .. anyway, someone at the top banned the DailyStormer, and worked with nearly every other major/minor provider to knock them out. That person then relented, said he didn’t wan to do anything like that again, which is pure bullshit because they’ve done many questionable things since.

CF has an absolutely insane, cross-continent dedicated backbone for their protection services and CDN (I think they have dedicated undersea fiber too, or at least very expensive virtual dedicated circuits). There are very few other services that even come close to what they offer, and a lot of them are just as corrurpt (like Akamai, which was used by Facebook back in the 2010s).

The Daily Stormer was basically a precursor for things like Parler, (which was Parler’s own damn fault for hosting everything on Amazon, but was also an example of massive industry wide collusion to censor one group.
