@djsumdog @sjw @p @alex no I had several thousand friends/followers on twitter, crispr did and wyatt and our friends did. those people suggesting to their friends to join. while on mastodon we had about 3k people overnight. mastodon absolutley crippled under the weight (we got about current poast requests but on a 8 core vps)

during that time two asian instances contacted cloudflare to reveal our IP to them to complain about poast, so we rent VPN from a company in NJ to hide behind now
