Kyle K :csharp: :paws:@nova I believe ZFS was first implemented on FreeBSD long before Linux as the first non-SunOS system and has had many years to be tweaked. Also, while FreeBSD moves slower, I always felt the entire system was developed way more purposely than the ‘throw it at the wall and see what sticks’ approach that Linux distros felt like for years. Trying to install RedHat 5.2 vs FreeBSD when I was in college was a night and day difference. :freebsd_logo:
