Wow, open ended question. A few thoughts:
* People are generally so much nicer here, a lot less likely to dunk-and-run.
* Timeline stays tolerable even in the face of breaking news.
* Many instances go out of their way to support marginalized communities in word and deed, Hachyderm is one of them and I love y'all for it. ('bout damn time!)
* Keeping a good thing going is going to cost $$ first and volunteer effort second in the long haul...ready to help at least with the first.
