@nova I haven't been on twitter for ~6 years I'd imagine. I did migrate of another Mastodon instance though and can give some thoughts on that.

1. Hachyderm has grown larger than my previous instance, but it still feels more cozy, like you can actually talk to people here.

2. Anyone can join hachyderm, but not everyone can stay, e.g corps.

3. Everything is clear and documented. We know how it operates and can have an impact on that, if we so desire.
