We are rapidly approaching a culture-wide inflection point where "gender equality" is classed with "all refugees welcome" or "end fossil fuels".

Some people may feel very strongly about it, but it undermines the fundamental objective of a basic functioning country. So either you admit it's wrong and get rid of it, or you stand around taking damage from it and trying to pretend you can't understand why everything keeps getting worse.
