Alan Martello@nova when I think of sustainability in ecosystems it means (as many have said) that it can continue indefinitely. This implies a life cycle where death and birth of many things (people, animals, plants) are ongoing - the key is that the underlying environment is not incrementally degraded or poisoned over time, because then it would not be indefinitely sustainable.
