Kanye is undoubtedly one of the best rappers and producers in history. Still like some of his stuff but it can't top graduation or his fingers in the bootyhole era during MBDTF

maybe I'm biased but I really like old school west coast rap and I can't help but appreciate Kendricks artistry, writing ability, homage OGs, and overcoming his stuttering. Something about listening to his music evokes real nostalgia and memories of growing up here. Even if you couldn't relate to the intensity of growing up in gangs you could relate to the family dynamics in maaadcity.

I miss MF Doom a lot too.
