@sun I would like to think that there's a happy medium between turning the country into North Korea and making it into an employment agency where everyone aims to be the lowest bidder on any given job. I still think that punishing decision-makers at companies that commit fraud for a quick buck would solve some problems. Reforming the byzantine and archaic immigration system would solve quite a bit more.

Unfortunately, the system is broken by design and I think our elites quite enjoy the demoralizing factor that it brings.
