There are reasons common things throughout history were done, and those reasons usually didn't revolve around evil misogyny or evil racism or even blind ignorance. The reason traditional things existed is because they tended to help a civilization last longer, survive the trials and tribulations of the world. They were solutions to problems we've forgotten. When we remove those solutions - even in the name of freedom - those problems come roaring back.

Our forefathers foolishly listened to Jewish social revolutionaries and gave into to their subversive demands. "Freedom for women! End Segregation! Change the immigration law in 1965! Voting for everyone, without restriction or qualification! Throw open the borders! Come on, don't be a dick. Why are you being so mean? Get with the times my man. The results have been the competency crisis. The destruction of the nuclear family. The invasion and colonization of all European and English speaking countries. The collapse in birth rates. Being a dick in certain circumstances is necessary to keep things moving along, to keep civilization moving along. Adults understand this. Whiny children and selfish, petty women do not.
