- Embed this noticeNobody really objects to evolution within a type, due to selection pressure; one problem I have with the whole premise is that random mutation does not suffice to explain either the observed biodiversity, *or* the obvious Intentionality of all of it.
So if DNA (for instance) is acting intentionally, independently of random-chance mutation, this represents a strict departure from the evolutionary biology that was current when I was into it.
