They don't care about the implications of their actions, or what the end result is going to be. Corporations only get to dictate and control whatever most people will allow them to. The only way to fight back, is to say "no" to companies even if whatever they're fucking you over with looks very shiny. This is why you should heavily gatekeep the Fediverse. Don't let normies feel welcome, so they don't get to bring in corporate garbage as they've always done.
