I'm not saying they were embedded from the start, but in the beginning there were a lot of normal people who weren't neobolsheviks that had been motivated into action because they had been made casualties of banker ghouls and were screaming for accountability. It's these people who terrified those at the top most, and it's why divisionary identity politics were heavily promoted in the immediate wake of OWS. Public outrage among regular people got uncomfortably close to concentrating on the right targets and they needed to ensure that would never happen again.
