What's strange is that generally these types of laws were aimed at the population generally, e.g. iodine in salt or fluoride in water. This is targeted at a subset of a particular ethnicity, but effects anyone who eats tortillas, which is about everyone is california. I assume it will effect the nation too, because producers aren't going to make two types of tortillas.

What's bad here is that some people are allergic and it can interfere with some medications.
