aapis@Dianora @bmacDonald94 I love the parallel because, like trump's battleships, they were oversized/overpowered monstrosities that could never reach their full potential due to rapidly evolving aviation technology. They were obsolete before they finished fitting out and spent most of the war hiding from the RAF. Their greatest triumph in battle was being the final resting place for thousands of dead nazis.
