I thought it might be cool to be someone that focuses on what’s the latest tech and tries to pay attention to what’s coming next and inform everyone, but when I listened to This Week in Tech, the people that called themselves “futurists” were the reason I stopped listening to that show. They were so full of themselves it was insufferable. And for some reason they always think the world would be and should be more collectivist.
