-tab/site themeing is gone in favor of chromiums limited built in capabilities
-brave no longer blocks or reports when javascript attempts device recognition
-site settings were stripped

i KNOW there were more things, but its been almost a decade so my memory is fuzzy all the shit they did at the end of 2018. i dont use brave anymore but i can guarantee you that almost if not everything i said is still true because they are just pure shillware whom no longer need to do anything beneficial to rake in the dough.
