Co-pay, deductible, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket. Basically means after paying more than we would in comparable income tax in a country with socialized or similar care, we then have the privilege of getting “free care.” For us, that’s $50,000 this year before tax credits and deductions. (Family of three.)
