asie@SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo it's still proprietary, it's just that we've gone from "manually reverse-engineering function/class names" (2011) through "having access to official function/class names, but having to apply them to the JAR ourselves" (2019) to "just having the JAR use official function/class names by itself" (2025). in terms of licensing, nothing changes
