@john_darksoul Course correction would mean a lot of things neither of which are in the cards right now. For one, there is a genetic issue at the bottom of all this and to fix this one would need to accept even lower fertility in the lower classes, as well as obviously removing all other interventions in demography which have been discussed to death. Removing the browns isn't even a tenth of what's necessary.
Further, you'd need a government that was willing and able to downsize, hold on to power, plunge the country into a catastrophic economic realignment AND not be conquered, all at the same time.
Let alone the obscene grift and corruption issue at all levels of government that makes this impossible.
This will not happen.
